2009 Dates to Remember

It may feel like spring or even summer outside today in DC, but it’s not. It’s November and 2009 is right around the corner (think BIG crowds/Inauguration events/Balls/momentous occasions/tourists taking over this city…).

With that said, please mark your 2009 calendars (whoops, I still have to purchase mine) for a few dates:

Friday, February 6th: Get your dancing shoes back on because it’s the Annual Jete’ Society of The Washington Ballet’s DANCE PARTY!  It’s always a blast and this year again, the event will be co-Chaired by the lovely Winston Bao Lord and Ashley Taylor and held at a new venue, the Russian Embassy.

Sunday, February 22nd: Oscar Night DC, the area’s only official Academy sanctioned event and which benefits your local chapter of the Red Cross (NCA), is back and this time at the cool Hard Rock Cafe downtown. It’s black tie, fun, and the best way to watch the Oscars.

Saturday, March 28th: Fashion For Paws benefiting The Washington Humane Society returns to the Italian Embassy, bigger and better.  With 1000 guest projected and Washington’s most fashionable fundraisers (and pooches) slated to walk the catwalk as well as some celebrities, you will not want to miss this event.

All of these fantastic causes are Punch Community Partners, so thank you for supporting!
