CityDance Ensemble Performs Latitude for 2 Nights Only

The performing arts, especially dance, continues to prosper in our city. The talent just keeps getting better and better and so does the choreography as well as the shows.  An example is this month’s VelocityDC Dance Festival, the first of its kind which was held at Sidney Harman Hall October 2nd-3rd.

You can witness some of our own home grown talent on Thursday October 29th & Friday October 30th at the Kennedy Center as CityDance Ensemble takes the stage with Latitude.  Viewed as Washington’s best kept secret, the troupe has received rave reviews from the New York Times and The Washington Post.

Fresh from their world tour, Latitude brings choreographers from around the world to the DC stage for an evening of world-class contemporary dance.   Pairing dances from up-and-coming international choreographers with works by leading choreographers from the US, Latitude reveals that the origins and intersects of art are only a matter of degree.

Tickets are available through the Kennedy Center box office (www.kennedy-center.org).  Check out their website for additional information on CityDance Ensemble (www.citydance.net)
