A Toast to Fashion
By Punch Pret-a-Porter Correspondent Whitney Stringer
Last week the Campagna Center received some local business support by way of a fashion fete. Housed at the Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria, junior friends of the Campagna Center celebrated the 13th Annual Toast to Fashion.
Fashion oriented businesses rallied together to put on a fashion show, create a marketplace of spring must-haves, a raffle of crowd pleasing packages and trips and a cocktail reception to celebrate.
The Campagna Center serves Alexandria’s most deserving children and families with quality programming and services like their Early Head Start program which provides care for expectant mothers infants, toddlers and.
During the evening Britt McHenry of ABC7 served as the emcee and guests noshed on treats from Petite Social events design, watched the sweet girls and models behind the Clarke Collection walk the runway with their reversible skirts and shopped for the ocean inspired accessories of J. Ryan Jewelry. Proceeds from the night went to the Campagna. Now that’s fashion with compassion.
