An American Birthday Beach Bash in Bermuda
The Brits know how to throw a party, but we already knew that. Here are some photos from the Rosewood Tucker’s Point Beach Club bash where over 400 patriotically decked out members gathered on the sand for a smorgasbord of American BBQ and picnicky foods, ice cream, beers, wines, bubbles, some iced Cosmos, a DJ who played what I like to call “are we at a wedding?” playlist, red, white and blue glow sticks, two bonfires, impromptu dancing and a lot of children ad lib performing with their glow sticks atop the hill before, during and after the fireworks show.

every guest was handed an iced Cosmopolitan as they walked down the wooden staircase and dropped off their shoes

hard to see, but my dinner consisted of corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw, mac and cheese and fried chicken breast : proud to be an American! (and should probably get my cholesterol checked soon)
