It’s the most wonderful time of the year (particularly if you are a single woman ready put up some cash for a date – I mean, it’s for charity!!). On Friday, January 17th, the GI Film Group and Sip with Socialites will present the 2nd Annual An Officer and an Auction: Stars and Studs charity bachelor auction. The function will be held once again at the Embassy of Austria and surely will be as entertaining if not more, than last year. In fact, thanks to social media, we just learned that local / national / chef star Spike Mendelsohn will be on the block. He’s handsome, charming, talented, a businessman, and yes, a chef who has dazzled television audiences for years on Bravo. His local restaurants include: Good Stuff Eatery, Béarnaise, and We the Pizza.
Tickets for Stars and Studs include an open beer and wine bar, live entertainment, sumptuous hand-passed appetizers, delicious desserts, celebrity guests, and a silent auction. Sports Reporter Britt McHenry of WJLA-TV, ABC 7 will be the celebrity emcee for the evening! The event is being co-sponsored by La Palina Cigars.
Bring your highest bid to win a dinner date with the single gentleman of your choice, or come for great raffle prizes, open bar, appetizers….
Dress is cocktail attire and space is limited.
