Angela’s Angels take on breast cancer

When I worked in sales at Net2000 Communications years ago, one of the most dedicated, hardworking, sincere, smart, and savvy persons in the company (as well as coolest) was a woman by the name of Kathy Moore.  A finance guru, she pushed herself to the limit as our little CLEC grew quickly and strongly, went through an IPO, then dealt with the tough times of the telecom implosion, layoffs, 9/11, investors pulling out and then an acquisition.  She never wavered.

Today, Kathy continues to uphold her high standards both professionally and personally.  The Punch is helping to support Kathy and her team “Angela’s Angels” in their endeavors to raise money for breast cancer awareness and the cure, and YOU can too:

Help change the future of breast cancer, and change millions of lives along the way!

image001Kathy Moore, Karen Walker, and Barbara Horvath are taking an amazing journey and would like you to support Angela’s Angels in raising money for breast cancer research and community outreach through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. Thousands of women and men are going to walk 60 miles over the course of three days to raise money for breast cancer research.

Kathy, Karen, and Barbara formed Angela’s Angela in support ofAngela DiSanto.  Angela is Kathy’s 31 year old cousin who is a breast cancer survivor and recently completed her first round of reconstructive surgery. Together, this team is planning on raising at least $10,000 to help end breast cancer forever. After seeing what her cousin has endured, Kathy wants to honor her cousin by raising money for breast cancer research in her name and walk in honor of the many other brave women in Angela Angel’s families that have bravely fought breast cancer.

Because every woman is at risk for breast cancer - a disease that strikes at random and for which the causes and cures are still unknown - know that every moment counts. Without a cure, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer - and 10 million could die - over the next 25 years.

Thank you for your support and concern and thank you for your support for our continuing journey.
