Join some of the finest dancers the nation’s capital has to offer on Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th at the Lansburgh Theater. CityDance Ensemble is showing off its talents to close up the season before they head overseas to tour. Catalyst will feature two Paul Taylor works, a collaboration between Artistic Director Paul Gordon Emerson and Grammy nominee Christylez Bacon, and a preview from the upcoming performance which will be premiered at the Sareyyet Ramallah Dance Festival in the Middle East.
Known as a repertoire company which bravely uses its dancers’ physicality, grace, strength, and emotions to paint the stage with striking images and movement, the CityDance Emsemble continues to provide us with groundbreaking works. This season finale is the designed to wow audiences with sensuality and extremely rigorous physical choreography that captivates.
