Countdown to Street Soccer USA Cup in DC

The Street Soccer USA Cup’s Opening Ceremonies are coming up this Friday at 12:30pm at Kastles Stadium, with our very own Mayor Fenty, Ted Leonsis (owner of the Washington Capitals and a major sponsor of Street Soccer USA, remember, he produced the film “Kicking It”, about the World Cup) as well as the magnanimous Maria Cuomo-Cole.

All seats are FREE … what a lovely word … and the tournament is all weekend, the Finals starting at 3:30pm Sunday the 2nd.

Friday, July 31st:  Party for Social Change –   Street Soccer USA is hosting a Young Professionals fundraiser event at SPOT Lounge at 1214 18th Street, NW.

The event goes from 8pm-10pm with a $20 suggested donation.  All proceeds go to Street Soccer USA. Thanks to sponsors Absolut Vodka and Marquis de la Tour Brut.
