Today, Monday, December 1st, 2008, marks the 20th Anniversary of World AIDS Day, whose theme this year is “Leadership”. Please take a moment to check out the website of Punch Community Partner YouthAIDS.
Not only are the Hollywood A-List stars who have taken their social conscience to the next level (Ashley Judd, Bono, Sharon Osbourne, Ludacris, Sir Bob Geldof, Christina Aguilera, Selma Hayek and the list goes on) passionately on board in the fight against the worldwide spread of AIDS, the education of preventing the killer disease abroad and domestically, and the caring of those who have been infected, but the iconic OPRAH herself, named YouthAIDS one of the Top Ten Charities in the country in 2006.
The Mission of YouthAIDS: YouthAIDS, an education and prevention program of PSI, uses media, pop culture, music, theatre and sports to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and reach 600 million young people in more than 60 countries with life-saving messages, products, services and care.
