"Dress Responsibly with Style" Campaign Kick Off Thursday July 24th

Thursdays in DC are always packed with events and many of you may double and triple book, but next Thursday, if you can find the time to stop by Barney’s Co-Op on M Street in Georgetown before you meander over to the various soirees, Fashion Fights Poverty (FFP) and Nest would love it!

From 6pm-8pm, you can enjoy cocktails and lite bites as you look through the newest fall fashions from Barney’s.  The eco-fashion designers will be highlighted that evening, which is representative of what FFP stands for.  Five % of your purchases, should you choose to indulge, will go towards FFP’s beneficiary Nest.

Nest is a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the lives of women in developing countries. The mission of Nest is to support women artists and artisans in the developing world by helping them create sustainable entrepreneurial businesses. To do this, Nest provides micro-credit loans to be used for the purchase of the supplies and materials necessary to begin and/or maintain art or craft-based businesses.
