Fashion Stills at the Sofitel

Ten Sofitel hotels are participating in a traveling fashion photo exhibit this year through next year and thank goodness, it’s coming to Washington, DC (April 7th 2010-June 2010) so you will have an opportunity to view these exquisite works in person.

I was privy to a peak at the booklet which provided the exhibition background as well as several of the photos which were taken by international icons in the photography field, Derek Hudson, Cathleen Naundorf, Jean-Marie Périer and GérardUféras . The pages are nothing compared to what these pictures will resemble, but even so, they were just breathtaking.  They exude a chic world of French elegance, romance, sexiness, and the power of the fashion industry.

The Sofitel teamed up with parisian Polka Gallery for this presentation which links all ten of the North American and Europeon hotels through a stylistic behind the scenes story of Haute Couture including shots from Dior, Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Yves St Laurent shows. If you love fashion, photography and the simple elegance of the Sofitel … you will not want to miss Fashion Stills at the Sofitel Lafayette Square.
