Gentle Reminder: A Peach Punch Pick: The Magical Rescue Tour in Atlanta This Saturday
The official countdown has commenced. Ya’ll, we’ll be traveling down south to Atlanta this week where everything is coming up peaches. Our Punch Partner Meringue Boutique is hosting their big event, “The Magical Rescue Tour”which is a fundraiser for Friends of DeKalb Animals, Inc. We expect an excellent turnout and since it’s rare that I personally get down there, I do hope to visit with some of my dear friends and relatives who call Atlanta home.
The event will be held on Saturday, July 28th from 4pm-8pm at 1393 North Highland Avenue across from Alon’s Bakery and adjacent to Meringue Boutique. The entire parking lot will be covered and there will be live music by Parker Smith and the Bandwith.
A suggested $12 donation (5 and under are free) covers your food and a drink provided by Whole Foods and Vita Coco coconut water.
The theme is CARNIVAL and they will have a cotton candy and popcorn machine, face painting for young and old, pups from DeKalb Animals Services for adoption, a microchip clinic so you can have your pups chipped for only $25, and an unbelieveable raffle with some amazing raffle items. Rosebud Restaurantwill also serve cocktails on their patio and donate a portion of those sales to Friends of DeKalb Animals.
