On Monday night, Washington’s new beauty destination, Nectar Skin Bar, held a preview event to celebrate their recent grand opening.

The pretty in purple 18th century rowhouse is located at 1633 Wisconsin Avenue just steps away from Ipsa for Hair Salon. Both businesses are owned by longtime Washingtonian power couple Brian and Amy Thomas. From Amy’s many international trips she discovered DC was missing something other cities around the world possessed, a one stop shop for a spa salon with top beauty line brands, cutting edge technology, a convenient location, valet parking and a skillfully trained staff of ready and willing licensed estheticians, nail techs and renowned product experts. Thus came the idea for Nectar Skin Bar.

During the evening, guests were given a tour of the spa’s many features including three luxurious manicure and pedicure stations, two main treatment rooms, one airbrush tanning room. The salon even boasts the District’s only LashDip station. When the weather cools down a bit, Nectar will be just the spot for bridal party festivities and girls’ night out as spacious back patio doubles as a outdoor spa service garden complete with lounge chairs and a bar!
