Hugh Newell Jacobsen at Nathan’s Q&A Cafe

hnjportraitside_002 George Costanza always wanted to be an architect.  While Seinfeld’s friend could only fantasize about being in that profession, the world famous, award-winning Hugh Newell Jacobsen is living it.

You can hear from Mr. Jacobsen as he chats with Carol Joynt at the Nathan’s Q&A Cafe on Wednesday the 19th with doors opening at noon.

Jacobsen’s website bio is extensive, but what stood out to me were some of the better known large buildings he has blessed us with:  The Libraries for the American Colleges of Greece (Athens), Gettysburg College (Penn), two museums for the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C., The Renwick Gallery, The Arts and Industries Building and addition to the U.S. Capitol.
