LaceyK Shoes Steps Out in Style

LaceyK Shoes 005 LaceyK Shoes Founder and dear friend, Lacey Kirstein, showcased some of her lovely footwear last evening at The Space (903 N Street, NW) during a private reception.  As some of you may already know from past press (think InStyle, Capitol File, Washington Life) and/or just by knowing Lacey, her story is very unique and her shoes are “simply fabulous”!  Lacey started her company after years of living with very narrow feet.  Oh “boo hoo” you say?  Try being someone who is interested in fashion and having to wear the equivalent of orthopedic type shoes because designers just don’t make shoes for narrows.  Discrimination, I say!  Well – Lacey, armed with her determination and business savvy, as well as wise words from brilliant mentors, created LaceyK Shoes for those who fall within the narrow world (there IS a real market for this business).  Luckily for others, she is making these cool jewels in mediums as well.

LaceyK Shoes 004 These Italian hand crafted, personally designed heels will soon be surrounded by a more high-end couture line as well as a more affordable line.

Right now you can check out her designs at www.laceykshoes.com.  You can purchase at Sassanova in Georgetown and a few other places here locally.  Of course, you can buy directly from her too.  Email her at lacey@laceykshoes.com and tell her the Punch sent you!  Happy shoe shopping!
