LukeWingsLOGO(2) HOT OFF THE PRESSES:   Luke’s Wings Hosts Inaugural Flight with an Exclusive Evening of Music and Dancing to Raise Money for American Veterans at Walter Reed Medical Center

 

WHAT:       Luke’s Wings is a nonprofit organization which provides airplane tickets for families who otherwise do not have the means to visit loved ones recovering at Walter Reed Medial Center. This organization will host their first fundraiser to help raise the initial funds needed to get Luke’s Wings up and running. Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are tax deductible and priced at $45 per person to include live entertainment, light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.

WHEN:        Saturday, March 1, 2008 from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., tickets may be purchased at the door.

WHY:          Luke’s Wings is an organization dedicated to the support of veterans who have been wounded while fighting the War on Terror. Recognizing the immediate need for families to be with their loved ones at such a difficult time, Luke’s Wings provides families with the means to visit veterans during their hospitalization and rehabilitation at Walter Reed Medical Center. By purchasing travel agency services and travel tickets for solders’ loved ones, Luke’s Wings provides an immediate and invaluable service to families of our men and women at arms. Those who are unable to attend the March 1st festivities will be able to make individual donations online at: www.lukeswings.org.
