Madison & Mistletoe Bash
By Punch Passport Correspondent Lori González Lazzarini
This past weekend I attended the Ninth Annual Madison & Mistletoe Bash to celebrate the holiday season. This year the event was held at the exquisite House of Sweden.
My friend and I arrived early so we had the opportunity to grab a table in a nice spot where we could admire all of the guests upon their arrival. Definitely, all the most beautiful girls in DC and the most stylish ones are part of Madison DC which is a professional, civic, and social organization of 100 young women in the greater DC area, representing a broad range of careers, who seek to improve their communities and enhance their lives through volunteerism.
The ladies were all out with the most fabulous dresses, jewels, and shoes; specially, the shoes. The men were all super sharp and handsome.  The event included open bar, appetizers, and to keep up with the cupcake craze in DC they were also serving delicious Crunchcakes. Something that I really enjoyed about this event was that everyone was dancing all night to the rhythms of a cool called Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts.
The night was a great one; this event was certainly worth to have my feet in pain the next day from the super high heels I wore. Can’t wait for next year!
