Washingtonian Hostess with the Mostess, the gorgeous and unbelievably slim and trim new mama, Susanna Quinn held a private affair atop the Hay-Adams hotel last week. Susanna, together with Vogue magazine and the popular designer shopping site Net-a-Porter, curated a sparkling, eye-popping, display of and enticing handbags, clutches, heels, boots, jewelry and other fun accessories.
Guests were served silver platters of the hotel’s best bites (I noted that most of these fashionably thin probably size 00′s declined the offerings again and again) while sipping Champagne, liquors and wine. While we weren’t supposed to whip out a credit card onsite, iPads were strategically placed in various places so we could find our heart’s delight on Net-a-Porter for a later buy. As we left, we were presented with a box which held a generous $200 gift card to the site and a copy of the latest publication.
