On Monday February 1st, Hudson Restaurant and Lounge hosted a warm welcoming party to NiMA Integrated Marketing Boutique (www.nimamarketing.com).  NiMA is a one-stop shop that provides a full range of integrated marketing and communications services – from strategic planning to creative execution – to small businesses, non-profit organizations, and trade associations.

I was thrilled to help launch this new business as Summer Amin, NiMA’s founder is one of my closest friends.  I gave a short speech at the event to articulate why Summer is so unique and special.  Nima in Persian, means “just” and “one who does right by others” and is also Summer’s name spelled backwards.  Summer is a compassionate and empathic person who always thinks of others and the consequences of her actions. Her integrity and character are inspiring and I know she will do a great job on this new endeavor of hers.

Guests were able to sample an array of delicious appetizers from the Hudson menu including, truffle mac and cheese tater tots, mini beef wellingtons, vegetable spring rolls and more.  The NiMA signature cocktail was a yummy caramel dutch apple martini with fresh gala apples for only $6. There were many other happy hour specials at the bar and a raffle with gift certificates from Potenza and Hudson.  Summer showed guests part of her creative marketing personality by creating the gift bags herself with a special business messaging kit. It can be used at the office with different away signs, such as, “Having a Moment”, “At the water cooler” or the more traditional, “On Vacation” and “Out to Lunch.”
