The March 20th annual Pink Tie Party which is the most festive food-focused event surrounding the National Cherry Blossom Festival kicked off Wednesday night at Lincoln, appropriately as the presenting sponsor of the Festival happens to be Lincoln, as in the car.Â Expect live entertainment as the area’s top chefs and mixologists feed you and quench your thirst left and right with cherry and spring-inspired temptations, and a prepare to bid on the robust silent auction.
Get your “pink on” in the form of a tie, a necklace, a dress, a suit, a shirt, a pair of pants, a fascinator, a scarf, a pocket square, footwear, whatever, just get it on, as we celebrate the Centennial.
Proceeds benefit the National Cherry Blossom Festival, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the beauty of nature and international friendship through year-round programs, events, and educational initiatives that enhance our environment, showcase arts and culture, and build community spirit.
