Inauguration is right around the corner and while the hype and crowd expectation is not as grandiose as 2009′s historic moment, the weekend is always a bustling time for restaurants, hotels, private event spaces and our city’s fine establishments. Â Whether you plan in staying in town or scooting out, we’ll have some ideas to inspire.
The buzz on the street is that hotel properties are not solidly booked as of yet, however, most are sticking to the “four night minimum” restriction. Â Be aware of that and inform anyone you know who is making plans. Â Our friends at the Park Hyatt Washington will have a lot going on including a Saks Fifth Avenue pop up shop with plenty of goods to purchase, thanks to the Tysons Galleria store.
Artists and Athletes Alliance will be hosting a few private affairs with west coast celebrities as are other organizations in the film and entertainment industries.
If you  know of any Inauguration parties, events, or fabulous functions, please alert us so we can share with the Punch community.
