Shirlie’s Girls Night Out is back at the Village at Shirlington. Starting Thursday, April 5th from 5-10pm, the village’s best restaurants, shops, boutiques and salons will host trunk shows, cocktails, treats and special happy hour promotions once-a-month for a Shirlington-style girls night out (summer dates are May 3, June 7, July 5, and August 2).
For the Foodie: There will be some great food and drink specials at some of Shirlington’s top restaurants and specialty shops, including: Balsamic Bubbly, treats and discounts on oil and vinegar pairings at Ah Love Oil & Vinegar; live acoustic music and sakitini drink specials at Extra Virgin Modern Cuisine and 20% all bottles of wine purchased in Cheesetique’s restaurant.
For the Fashionista: There will be some great fashion-focused specials including: cupcakes, champagne and 10% off all purchases at chic women’s boutique Periwinkle; a Rudy Project Sunglasses trunk show at Visual Eyes Optical Boutique (next month’s GNO will feature trunk shows from Burberry and Versace); and a designer hand-crafted silver jewelry showing at Capitol City Brewing Company.
I perused the list of to-do’s for Thursday night’s Shirlie’s Night Out and there is plenty. Hopefully, the weather will hold out for you and your gal pals to make the most of it. As someone who lives not too far from Shirlington, I have found it’s a hidden gem and a place where we often say, “Oh, I forgot about that!” Ladies, grab your friends and have a ball.
