Put Your Best Fashion Forward

You are cordially invited to attend "Fashion Forward", a charity fashion show which will benefit Punch Community Partner, Hoop Dreams Scholarship Fund, on Friday November 21st, 7pm at the Shadow Room.

This fun fall show (DC continues to move along in the "hip" parade) will feature DC BASED designers like iKY Clothing and DNA 2050 brands such as Just Cavalli, C’N'C Costume National, G-Star, 7 For All Mankind, Diesel, William Rast, J. Lindeberg, Sport Max Code (Max Mara) and many, many more.

I personally am accompanying the CW/Evolution Look’s Paul Wharton as a Special Host, but more importantly, there will be NFL playahs in the house, in addition to (guys, get ready) the REDSKINS CHEERLEADERS and the WASHINGTON WIZARDS GIRLS (after all, it is basketball season, again).

The jam-packed event will offer gift bags, drink specials compliments of p.i.n.k. Vodka and lite bites, thanks to Neyla.  One of my favorite local jewelry designers (who did the charm and lapel pin for Fashion Fights Poverty), Evelyn Brooks, was commissioned to create HDSF pieces, which you will get to see. 

Wait, there’s more!  Stay after the show for the official after party.  It is a Friday night after all.

Tickets are on sale now ($50 in advance / $60 at the door) at www.hoopdreams.org. Should you want to give more to the cause at the door, 100% of those proceeds will go to HDSF.
