Santa Paws

This past Sunday afternoon, Fresh Boutique hosted “Fashion for Paws: A Home for the Holidays.†I brought my miniature schnauzer, Georgia (pictured below with Santa), over to 1205 Potomac Avenue in Georgetown where Fresh treated us to an afternoon of shopping, socializing, and pictures with Santa.
There was a good turnout of doggies, all breeds and sizes, and plenty of treats to go around. There were also some very well-deserving animals on-site available for adoption.

Georgia got a little overwhelmed by all the activity and insisted on being hand-carried for most of our visit, but I was still able to browse the racks of cute holiday dresses. Holidays specials at Fresh meant that dresses were buy two, get one free, with no item over $100.
A $20 donation to Fashion for Paws which went to the Washington Humane Society got me an opportunity to give to a worthy cause, as well as great portrait of Georgia and Santa. Georgia also received an adorable holiday card made of rawhide, which will definitely be under my tree.

If you were unable to attend the event, but would like to support the Fashion for Paws program benefiting the Washington Humane Society, please make a donation by visiting www.fashionforpaws.org.
