Spotted: Chuck Bass At Last

After this weekend in Washington, “spotting” really doesn’t hold much value, since we pretty much rubbed shoulders with Owen Wilson, Christian Slater, will.i.am (the singer who also is in town for a Terry McAuliffe fundraiser.  Terry who is running for VA Governor will be at the Clarendon Ballroom Monday night at 8pm $40 at the door), Forrest Whitaker and so, so, so many more at the various soirees.  

However, I must say, when I sat with a friend soaking in the delicious sunny late afternoon weather in the courtyard of the Four Seasons on Sunday, it was a true pleasure to look up and see CHUCK BASS (aka. British actor Ed Westwick of the CW’s Gossip Girl - pictured above in the green) come strolling in.  He sat for a bit hans solo, let his server know in his pleasant English accent that there would be three of them (I kept hoping co-star hottie Chase Crawford would be one of the other two) and just chilled out. Later, after the other two in his party appeared (disappointingly looking like his parents, aunt and uncle, or something to that affect), he left, only to come back cooly with a cig in his mouth.  The three had some beverages then went inside Bourbon Steak to dine. Apparently Ed will be in town longer for a CW luncheon on Monday.  We hear the boys of the popular show were at the Nerd Prom this weekend too.
