The Catwalk at CUSP

On Friday night, the oh-so-fabulous Paul Wharton graced CUSP in Georgetown with his presence and fashion expertise (and trademark mane, of course). Paul runs Evolution Look Modeling Agency, is the popular modeling and style coach on MTV’s MADE, has frequented The CW’s America’s Next Top Model, and blogs about his glamorous life, among many other accomplishments. Basically, he can turn any plain Jane into a fashion-forward fox!
At CUSP, guests mingled, listened to beats spun by an in-store DJ, and sipped on either Midori or Blue Curacao infused champagne cocktails while they shopped around the chic boutique. At 8 pm, Paul gathered the group to talk about this fall’s hottest trends as a handful of models sported the looks, courtesy of CUSP, for our viewing pleasure.
We learned that this season, bold colors, lots of layers, booties, and colorful opaque tights – especially in teal and burgundy – are all the rage. Armed with this knowledge, everyone continued to shop, searching for some fierce fall finds. Paul offered up his wardrobe wisdom and kept the crowd entertained with his big personality and abundance of charm. Then we strutted off into the night to prove that DC is so much more than a city of grey suits and power ties. Thanks to Paul for sharing his tips and tricks to those of us less fashion savvy!
