Urban Chic’s First Annual Dress Drive to Benefit Once Upon A Prom
No Comments »FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
On March 27, 2008 join the co-founders of Once Upon A Prom at Urban Chic (Georgetown location only) for a dress drive-shopping happy hour. From 5 pm to 8 pm receive 30% off purchases when you donate a dress. Please only donate dresses that will make girls feel fabulous—a good rule of thumb is 2000 to present.
Co-founders Katie Tarbox, Ashley Taylor, and Sarah Elder founded Once Upon A Prom, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, to provide prom dresses to young women who otherwise could not afford them.
Can’t make it to the event? Drop off a dress at any Urban Chic location March 24-31, and receive 20% off your purchase.
All dresses received will go to Once Upon A Prom’s dress drive in May. At this event girls from area schools (listed below) will choose their prom dresses.
