So many people can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? Show that you can but bring your pup along with you for the 3rd Annual Humane Society Walk for the Animals on Sunday October 5th.
The Washington Humane Society and the Humane Society of the United States invite not just Washingtonians, but those from around the globe to walk for a purpose.
Whether you own a dog or not, enjoy a scenic stroll in our nation’s capital around the lake at the beautiful Constitution Gardens, located just north of the World War II Memorial, at the corner of Constitution Ave. and 17th St. NW.
Check in begins at 10:00am. Pre-walk activities begin at 11:00am. and the walk steps off at 12:00pm.

All proceeds benefit the lifesaving adoption, humane education, and spay/neuter programs of WHS and The HSUS. You can raise even more money to help animals by asking friends and family to sponsor you. If you fancy yourself as a competitive fundraiser or are just truly passionate about this cause, go for it. You have the opportunity to win a prize for your efforts, as the top individual fundraiser and members of the top fundraising team will each win earn a prize!
