Washington Humane Society’s 2008 Bark Ball

Bark! Bark! Bark!  Just preparing you for the sounds that you will more than likely hear the evening of the 2008 Bark Ball benefiting one of my favorite charities, The Washington Humane Society.  Buy your ticket or table now for the June 7th event and make sure Fido and Fifi have had their grooming appointments (may I suggest a visit to Dogtopia of Alexandria).  Yes, that’s right, this is Washington’s only "four-on-the-floor" event, so please tux up your pups and get them there to sniff some tails and enjoy an evening out on the town.

This event attracts media outlets from a local and national level including television (Animal Planet) and amasses celebrities like Art Buchwald, Chris Buckley, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Arch Campbell, Willard Scott, Loretta Swit, Mary Matalin and James Carville.  Honorary Pet Chairs have included: Socks Clinton, Millie Bush, Leader Dole, and most recently “First Canines” Spot and Barney Bush.
