What’s New at the Park Hyatt Washington DC This Spring

Spring has sprung with warm (muggy) weather, birds (and bugs) a plenty, rain (what happened to snow?), and an onslaught of things to do (charity event overkill).  This strange D.C. weather has Washingtonians up in arms with confusion so why not do a little staycation to bring a little freshness to your life.

Our Punch Partner the Park Hyatt Washington DC is offering the Spring Cherry Blossom package, which includes an overnight stay in a signature Premier Park Deluxe room, pot of cherry blossom green tea in the Tea Cellar or in-room, breakfast table for two in the Lounge, plus children’s backpack with sightseeing supplies to enjoy the blossoms and other famed landmarks.  The package is available March 5 – April 29 with rates starting at $299. Additionally, for every package sold, they will donate a portion of sales to the National Cherry Blossom in celebration of the Centennial anniversary.

But wait, that’s not all: The property is also ensuring your thirst is quenched with its Sakura cocktail (pictured above) during cherry blossom season, which includes Prairie Organic Vodka, Cherry Puree, Cherry Bitters, Va de Vi sparkling wine, and garnished with a cherry.  The cocktail is available in the Lounge and Blue Duck Tavern for $14.

And the Masters of Food and Wine is coming March 24th, we’ll have all details, schedules and ways to register in a future post.  Finally, we are going to do a new spring Pamela’s Punch cocktail … now just to come up with the ingredients….then I hope you come and toast to a better spring with me in the Lounge.
