Where’s the Party?
I have to give a big shout out to Peter Abrahams, Karen Sommer Shalett and the staff at DC Modern Luxury magazine. Thank you SO much for the excellent full page coverage in the February issue (p. 115) of the Famoso event Victoria and I did awhile back. The pictures were great (Russell Hirshon) and we appreciate your publication giving attention to the work we did that night. It was quite a party! Please keep your eyes and ears peeled for future events. We have more on the docket to be sure. Speaking of events …

After the ExecutiveBiz event on the 8th, I plan to head down to the Park Hyatt Washington for the sold out “What a Party” shindig celebrating yet another book party for former DNC Chair, fundraiser, turned author, Terry McAuliffe. I have yet to read the his memoirs, but I cannot wait. The word on the street is this vivacious, energetic, hilarious, and brilliant wordsmith is tearing up the New York Times Best Seller List as well as charming everyone every where he goes. Well, we expected nothing less from Mr. McAuliffe, did we?
I had booked Terry in July 2006 for a Potomac Officers Club dinner, and we all just had a ball. He was a real treat to have as a speaker, he was to the point, witty, politically incorrect, and stayed an hour longer than he needed, only because we were all begging for more. We were so pleased with his appearance. (Salesman that is he, he was plugging his later to be released book way back then!)
I will have a full report Friday morning – but I for sure better have a signed copy, Terry!
