Zengo Kentlands Opens & #ZenGain in 2015

It was almost a year ago that I took my first Zengo cycle class. I’d just spent a few weeks (over) indulging with family in Las Vegas during the holidays, then flew back home New Year’s Eve night, and the (over) indulged (again) at New Year’s Day Brunch. Obviously in preparation for my introductory ride, I was hoarding thousands of calories. But I did it! I hosted a successful ride at Zengo Bethesda and I didn’t fall off, pass out, or pass on. I did, however, become hooked on the high and began signing up for class upon class upon class, braving the worst weather in order to make it to my Zen on a bike.

Fast forward to now when the locally-based “dance on a bike/sweat your life out/invigorating all over body workout where you spin to the beat of music while honoring your body and have a kick ass fun time” company now has locations in Bethesda (which is getting renovated), Logan Circle on 14th Street and P, and is opening in the Kentlands, MD and in Fairfax, VA at the Mosaic. The endorphin high and clean sweat you earn from 50 minutes in the dark studio is worth it. Now there’s no excuse not to join the movement.
